Letters to the future
Send a message through time.
Write a letter, add a photo or recording, choose the moment it should arrive, and seal it away. We'll deliver it when the time comes.
To: Future You
“Open when you're 30.”
Arriving 10 years from now

Questions, answered.
How does delivery actually work?
You choose the exact date, time, and timezone. Our scheduled delivery infrastructure (with retries, not a single fragile timer) sends it the moment that arrives, no earlier and no later.
Does the person receiving it need an account?
No. Recipients open their capsule through a private, unguessable link, optionally protected by a passphrase you set. They don't need to sign up.
Can I edit a capsule after I've sealed it?
Yes, up until it's delivered. You can update the content, photos, or delivery details from your dashboard at any time before it arrives.
Is my content private and secure?
Yes. The moment you seal a capsule, we email you an encrypted backup so you always hold your own copy. You can also lock a capsule with a passphrase for extra protection.
What if I need to cancel after sealing?
Any sealed capsule that hasn't been delivered yet is eligible for a full refund. Just reach out and we'll take care of it.
Is there a limit on how far in the future I can send something?
No limit. Whether it's next month or in thirty years, you pick the date and we'll keep it safe until then.
Do I have to pay to use Time Capsule?
No. Creating and sending a capsule is free to start. Paid tiers add photos, audio, passphrase protection, and writing together with other people.
